Goaba Gogontle Foundation supports practical initiatives that respond to real community needs with dignity, care, and long-term purpose.
Our projects are designed to do more than provide short-term help. We aim to support work that creates meaningful benefit, strengthens community wellbeing, and lays the foundation for more sustainable futures.
Our current work focuses on practical, community-based support for children, schools, and families in Botswana.
The Goaba Gogontle Winter Drive is a seasonal support initiative aimed at helping children stay warm, supported, and cared for during the colder winter months in Botswana.
Through this drive, we collect winter clothing and other essential daily living items that can help meet immediate needs for children and families facing hardship. This may include warm clothes, tracksuits, blankets, food items, and other practical essentials depending on the needs identified.
At the heart of this project is dignity. We want support to be thoughtful, useful, and responsive to the realities children and families face during winter — especially in communities where resources are limited.
The Ngwatsau Primary School Garden Project is one of Goaba Gogontle Foundation’s first core initiatives.
This project is being developed to support practical learning, food security, sustainability, and self-sufficiency within the school community. Through year-round gardening, children can learn valuable life skills while participating in a project that has the potential to benefit both the school and their families.
The garden is intended to serve as more than a source of produce. It is a learning space, a sustainability project, and a practical step toward helping children understand the value of growing food, caring for shared resources, and building stronger community foundations.
Depending on the project and community needs, Goaba Gogontle Foundation may help mobilise support in areas such as: clothing and winter essentials, food and household support items, school-based sustainability initiatives, practical learning resources, community wellbeing support, partnership-driven local projects.
This allows us to respond in ways that are practical, respectful, and aligned with the needs on the ground.
As Goaba Gogontle Foundation grows, we hope to expand the range of projects we support in partnership with communities, schools, and aligned organisations.
Our long-term goal is to build a body of practical, dignity-centred initiatives that strengthen education, sustainability, wellbeing, food security, and community resilience across Botswana.
We welcome support from individuals, partners, sponsors, and organisations who want to contribute to practical projects that make a real difference.
Whether through donations, resources, partnerships, or community collaboration, your support can help bring meaningful initiatives to life.
